How did the strictly limited Double Eagle Very Rare 20 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey get its name?
The name "Double Eagle" has two meanings for the rare 20-year-old bourbon whiskey. On the one hand, it matured twice as long as the 10-year-old Standard Eagle Rare in the Buffalo Trace range, on the other hand, two eagles can be seen on the artistically designed bottle. The decanter not only has a crystal eagle on top of the cap, but also one in the bottle. According to Buffalo Trace, it took two years to develop the crystal masterpiece and the silver box. It was worth the wait for the luxurious decanter and the great 20 year old bourbon. The result is a real collector's item, which with its small number of only 299 pieces is rarely found on the market.

The Eagle Rare whiskey brand belongs to the well-known Buffalo Trace Distillery based in Frankfort, Kentucky, which was founded in the mid-19th century and publishes many well-known whiskey brands.
