Talisker 43 Year Old Xpedition Oak is a rare whiskey from the prestigious Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye that whiskey lovers and collectors should not miss. At 43 years old, it is the oldest whiskey ever released by Talisker. Aged in oak casks, the whiskey was bottled in just 1,830 bottles. The noble old wine comes up with the style typical of Talisker with maritime notes and a hint of spicy pepper. The Talisker 43 year old Xpedition Oak was bottled with an alcohol content of 49.7 percent. It comes in a 0.7L bottle in a quality box. Also included in the box is a piece of wood from a barrel stave that was on board adventurer James Aiken's ship when he crossed the Atlantic.
